A. No, we do not carry stock in our showroom, only samples. We can check with the mill to see if they have anything available. If so, goods can normally be shipped within one week of confirmation and payment.

Q. What are the minimums if no stock is available?

A. Minimums vary between mills. However, generally the minimum required is one piece ,aprox 35-50 mts. For lace, the minimums vary greatly so it’s best to enquire once you’ve made a selection.

Q. What is the lead-time for fabrics?

A. In general it’s 4-6 weeks for sampling and 6-8 weeks for production. We can be more specific once you’ve made your selection

Q. Are your mills open to developments?

A. Yes, many of our mills are able to realize your own designs in jacquards and prints. Set-up costs may apply depending on the artwork and quantity of fabric.

Q. How do I place an order?

A. Please provide a Purchase Order (P.O) with all relevant info: Invoice/Delivery address, article reference, colour, quantity and VAT number if you are registered. NB: In the case you don’t have a VAT number, the mill will add the VAT of origin to the invoice.

Q. Do I have to pay for shipping?

A. Yes. As all prices are Ex-mill in euros, transport costs will be added to the invoice, unless you have your own courier account number which you wish to use. This should be advised at the time of order.

Q. How do I make payment?

A. Most of our customers are payment by proforma invoice, in advance. Payment is normally done by bank transfer direct to the mill. Please note we do not accept payment through our office. In the case of Sophie Hallette however, they have an online facility which you can use to pay by card.

Q. When are your mills closed?

A. Italian and French mills close for 3-4 weeks in August to allow for holidays. They also close for the Christmas break and all public holidays. Please consider this when placing your orders in order to avoid delays.
